Much of my career has been in marketing communications as a copywriter and creative director where I have helped over 100 companies tell their stories about how their products and services fill a need or solve a problem.
My approach is always the same: dig deep to understand a company’s purpose, motivation, audience, and uniqueness. Once that is understood, the essence of their brand emerges and the strategic and creative processes take off.
A few years ago, I started freelance writing for magazines and other publications and got to dig deep in a different way. I sought out people to interview whose work I found interesting and through our conversations, they revealed their strong will, beliefs, and insight in ways I least expected.
